In a hamlet 56 kms from New Delhi, the national capital, a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility was conceptualized by Mr. Vishwa Mitter Mahajan more than half a century ago. This vision was realized when J.Mitra & Bros. established their factory at E-30, Industrial Area, Sonepat-131002, Haryana in 1966 on rental premises. Outfit water sterilizing tablet was manufactured for Defence for the next 2 decades. Production of Soda Lime (carbon dioxide absorbent) was commenced in 1968 after approval for production of Soda Lime IP & USP from the Drugs Controller, Haryana state. This product was in much demand in hospitals and medical research institutes.

The land and building for the factory were purchased in 1986. The factory premises house the latest state-of-the-art machines and testing facilities, conform to the GMP norms and hold a manufacturing license as per these standards. We also hold certifications of ISO(9001:2015), NSIC, SPR and MSME.
